Hey Everyone!
Because summer is so short here in Vancouver - I really try to stay on budget for most of my summer wear. I was walking home from work with Christian the other day and I thought that I would just pop my head into Old Navy and found this amazing and incredibly budget friendly dress, cute braided belt and adorable gladiator sandals.
So there you have it! - An entire summer outfit for less than a couple of cocktails - how can you really go wrong?
Dress kensie c/o // Wedges Michael Kors [love these]// Belt J.Crew [similar] // Bag Vintage Chanel // Sunnies Aldo // Bracelets Coach & David Yurman // Lips Nars // Earrings Tacori c/o
I've been a huge fan of kensie for a while now - I especially love the casual glam of all of their dresses. I was particularly drawn to this kaleidoscope print dress because its one of those amazingly easy to thrown on dresses that just makes you feel put together. I also love that I can wear it anywhere from the office to a casual Sunday brunch. Today I paired it with a pair of wedges that I have had forever, a skinny silver belt, my mom's vintage Chanel, and super fun sunnies.
How would you style it?

Even though it's mid-June - the last few days here in Vancouver have been anything but Summery. I decided to mix some pretty shades of white and grey for a perfect cloudy day look.
Today I am talking about my tried and tested beauty staples. For me, Summer is all about easy natural makeup looks. I tend to just stick to a simple eye, pretty glossy lip and a pretty coral cheek.
These items below will be all you need to achieve that pretty Summer glow that we all want!
one - I cannot live without this amazing highlighter. I use it for everything from perking up tired looking eyes to helping with contouring.
two - I have literally tried dozens and dozens of BB Creams and I have to say this one is hands down the best one ever. It also has SPF 30 and actually improves your skin over time - no, really, it does!
three - I've been addicted to this pretty blush for years, and so has most everyone else I know. It's universally flattering on almost any skin tone and gives you such a gorgeous glow - what's not to love?
four - ok, ok - seriously where has this stick been all my life?? I am not a professional makeup artist and contouring is not only confusing, it's pretty scary when done badly. This little stick takes out all the guess work. I use it with the Benefit Lemon-Aid for the perfect 'lazy glam' contour (stay tuned for a tutorial later this week).
five - three words - BEST LIPGLOSS EVER. It keeps my pout just the right amount of glossy, shiny, pigmented and moisturized. I can't say enough about it - amazing, seriously!
six - this is a universally flattering nude lipstick, and it's amazingly moisturizing - love!
I'm a huge sucker for a super, super girly outfit and this one is just about as girly and cute as it gets. Today Christian and I headed out for a really relaxing Sunday filled with brunch and shopping at some of my favorite little home decor and vintage boutiques. I also have to say that I am totally obsessed with the Clinique Long Last Glosswear - its seriously amazing, stays glossy and keeps your lips so hydrated all day long. What did you get up to this weekend?
I love a good bandage skirt and I have to say this pretty pink one from Dollhaus Couture is my absolute favorite. Not only is it the prettiest color ever, its also extremely comfortable and totally figure flattering. Today I paired it with a pretty heart printed knit and my heart sunnies.
