5 Steps to Glam: My Everyday Makeup

 

Ok, so this is my very first makeup tutorial, and I have to say I was a bit scared to post totally makeup-less photos of myself - however, I really wanted to show everyone how totally easy it is to look Glam in 5 easy steps!

Step 1. Squeaky Clean

 Cleanser, Moisturizer, Eye Cream, Clarisonic  

I am a stickler for always washing my face and moisturizing. I received Clarisonic for my birthday and it has made a huge difference in the tone texture and clarity of my skin. I also use moisturizer and eye cream twice a day - so important!

Step 2. Conceal, Conceal, Conceal 

Concealer

Concealer is your BFF! Make sure you choose a shade that is one shade lighter than your foundation, and blend, blend, blend. 

Step 3. Foundation, Powder, Bronzer & Blush 

Make Up Forever HD Kit, Blush MAC Blush in Love Joy, Bronzer, Benefit Highligher 

I don't always use foundation, but I love the Make Up Forever one - it's especially great for photos. I also love blush - it's a must-have for me - and I really adore the MAC Mineralize ones. They give you a soft glow without looking strange and reflective from too much shimmer.

Step 4. The Eyes 

Benefit Mascara, Loreal Liner 

The eyes! Mascara is another thing I cannot live without. The Benefit one I'm using is probably the best one I have ever used - if you haven't tried it, please do! I also did a slight winged liner. I find it's a good way to make your lashes look a bit thicker. Next, I filled in my brows - I've always preferred the look of slightly thicker brows on me.

Step 5. The Lips 

MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo

The LIPS - my signature. As you've probably noticed, Red is my favorite lip color! Today I chose a slightly pinker red, which looks good on many skin tones.
