A Touch of Marble

Our living room has always been multi-functional. It's an entertaining space, sometimes our dinner table, and, during the daytime, it's where Gumboot Glam is headquartered :)

As a result, the space has become well-loved, and, sadly, it was starting to show. And, with our little one on his way, we thought that it would be time for a little refresh.

Just having gone through an extensive nursery design process (which I cannot wait to share with all of you), I also knew generally what I wanted: mid-century modern inspired clean lines, with wood elements to warm-up the space. And, most importantly, I really wanted to replace our metal and glass table tops, with easy-to-clean and hardy marble.

Since we had not bought anything for our living room in awhile, after a bit of searching online and in stores, I quickly learned that the aesthetic that I loved was also often quite pricey. That is, until I found Article - which totally matches my style-aesthetic, is excellent quality and had amazing price points. 

I absolutely fell in love with their matching MARA Walnut Coffee Table + MARA Walnut Side Table. The white marble is gorgeous, and has already been amazing for my flat-lays! (You may have seen them in my recent IG Stories!) And, the solid wood walnut base is just beautiful, and matches perfectly with a number of the decorative elements already in our home.

Also, I don't normally comment on a brand's shipping policy, but Article's quite impressed me. For a flat $49, Article will ship anything, anywhere in North America. And, for an additional fee the delivery team will also assemble the piece in your room of choice - which is necessary when you are as pregnant as I am :)

After everything was setup, I think you would agree, the Marble Refresh did wonders for our living space! Binxie sure loves it, and I hope you guys do too!
