I've always loved the fresh and pretty color combination of blue and white, there is just something so crisp and fresh about it and it totally reminds me of being somewhere tropical. Midi dresses are kinda my go to these days. Even though I love a cute mini skirt, there is so elegant and ladylike about a midi length dress. And this midi length wrap dress from local designer Rimpy Sahota is the perfect combination of elegant and girly, and is definitely one of my go-to pieces right now. If you are more pear shaped, like me, this is a style that I would highly recommend trying.

I wish that Summer would last forever and ever! I just love feeling the sun on my skin and the lush green grass on my bare feet. Today I wanted to wear something easy but still pretty and girly to a little backyard party I attended with Christian. I decided that this pretty button down maxi (which is a total steal at under $30) with a cream lace choker and my fav Summer lip color was the perfect look. The weather in Vancouver this Summer has been less than... well Summery. So that means that I have hardly been able to wear any of the cute mini dresses and shorts that I bought in anticipation of a heat wave. What I have been living in, while I wait for the weather to cooperate, are cute midi dresses and I am particularly obsessed with wrap dresses. This one is actually a major steal at less than $30 and it comes in four colors. I also think that it would be so cute in the early Fall with some booties as well!

Hey Everyone! Did someone say SALE?!?

I did some major online shopping at the Nordstrom sale yesterday, hopefully my husband isn't reading this ... haha 

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, which is for Nordstrom Credit/ Debit Card holders only, but don't fret it opens to the public on the 22nd. You can get a sneak peek of the sale items here. The best part of this sale is that the items are all for the upcoming season as opposed to the end of the current one. So now all I'm doing is dreaming about Fall outfits.

 There are some incredible steals that you don’t want to miss out on.  It's time to grab some essentials for Fall and give your closet a little refresh. Summer for me is all about the little white dress! I literally wait all year long for the opportunity to break out my white dresses. I especially love this one because its perfect for any occasion - from the office to drinks with the girls. Best part is that its well under $75

Fendi Private Suites

One of the biggest treats of our whole Italy trip was our stay at the Fendi Private Suites. With only 7 rooms, the Suites take boutique to a new level. And, with Fendi museum pieces used throughout the lobby, and the room clad in Fendi fabrics, I was in heaven. (Saying nothing for the possibility that I may have stayed in a room that Lagerfeld may have used...amazing!!)

After time exploring our room, concierge collected us for our tour of the store. Thinking it was simply a walk-through of the normal store, we didn't take the camera. But, when they took us to Fendi's private third floor, used only for fashion shows and designer-meetings, I was blown away. The space is incredible.

Post the tour, we went back to the main floor to shoot this adorable dress, which I think looks amazing!
