This weekend, I was inspired to go vintage shopping. It's a fun weekend couples activity (for me anyway!), and sometimes - like when I found this gorgeous leather skirt - lightning strikes! For me, lightning struck again in the form of this amazing vintage silk midi skirt. It was stuffed at the back of a rack, and I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw it - because it was exactly what I was looking for. Also for the quality and fabric it was a complete steal - oh did I mention I have a slight obsession with plaid. Christian however - wasn't a fan when I first tried it on, but I told him to trust me. And, when I styled the skirt with a simple black tank for dinner he was absolutely floored. The skirt is amazingly versatile, a perfect transition piece to the Fall, and a complete stunner!
