My Hair Care Favs

1& 2
I start my hair care routine with a great shampoo and conditioner. I have been using Bumble and Bumble products for a while now, but I find that thickening formula gives body and fullness to my fine hair.

I first discovered Carol's Daughter Tui Moisturizing Hair Smoothie after going from very dark hair to very light hair. Even though my colorist lightened my hair very gradually, it was very dry and brittle from the bleach and heat damage - huge surprise right? This product not only softened my hair immediately  it also brought back the shine and stopped the breaking. Now that my hair is healthy again I use it bi-weekly.

I am a little bit obsessed with tons of volume - to me it always looks GlamI love this Bumble and Bumble Thickening Serum for creating the look of super full hair. This is a nightly treatment that helps create volume over time. Amazing!

A great hair dryer and round brush are key in getting a great blow-out. I love this natural boar bristle round brush, it adds so much shine and body to my hair, its also great for creating volume. This hair dryer is powerful yet still gentle and is great for creating shine - it's also very well priced.

I have a natural wave to my hair so when I do want to wear it straight I use this flat iron. The key to not creating too much damage is to flat iron your hair in smaller sections, that way you only have to go over the section once. It's also important to pay attention the to heat setting, if you have finer hair - us a lower setting.

I cannot live without hot rollers, I usually put them in before I have my breakfast - and confession time, I sometimes take my dog out in the morning with them still in (not so Glam right?) These specific ones are great for longer hair, but there are a few different options for whatever length hair you have.

I really hope you got some great information about my hair favorites! I'm going to try and do a step by step video tutorial very soon so stay tuned!

  3. A good hair dryer is KEY. Totally worth the investment. Same with flat irons too! We have to be nice to our hair! (says the girl going in for highlights and hair extensions today). :)
